In preparation for the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety of WHO and the UNICEF Nutrition Section of the Program Group will host a week long series of virtual events focused on improving nutrition through a multi system approach. The week’s events will highlight key priorities and actions that countries are taking, or are planning to take, to deliver essential nutrition actions in health systems and promote safe and healthy diets to ensure health and well-being for all, leaving no one behind. The week aims to drive ambitious and impactful country commitments at N4G by:
- showcasing countries’ best practice examples inspire others in their journey to commitment making;
- focusing attention on high impact interventions needed to improve nutrition; and
- describing key resources that countries can use to address the priority topics relevant to the scope of N4G.
The Health Week has eight exciting sessions that cover wasting, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, reformulation, micronutrients, fiscal and school-based policies.
